Today’s post will be about another fantastic place in Poland – Magiczne Ogrody! Pandemic is definitely conducive to discovering places that we have so far put off and later…. In the end, however, we made it and have only one regret… that we only got here now ;)
We had already planned to visit the Magic Gardens the previous year, but it takes about 3 hours to get there from Lodz, so it’s definitely too long for a day trip. You have to plan a whole day for Magic Gardens: from opening to closing, and then you still have to have the strength to return, so we decided to combine a visit here with some weekend or longer outing.
Fortunately, an opportunity finally presented itself: we were spending an extended weekend in Sandomierz, so we decided to stop by the Magic Gardens on our way back.

Where are the Magic Gardens located?
Magiczne Ogrody is located in Trzcianki near Janowiec (Lubelskie Voivodeship). The easiest and fastest way to get here is by car. For example, it takes about 3 hours to get there by car from Lodz, 2 hours from Warsaw, and 1 hour from Lublin (lucky people!).
Driving from the south to Trzcianki, you turn left to the Magic Gardens, and there is quite a large free parking lot on the right. You can also try your luck in the parking lot opposite the entrance, but there is less chance of free spaces and if you stay to the end you should expect it to take a while longer to leave, as the road is crowded with pedestrians leaving the Magic Gardens.
Perhaps you’d be interested in descriptions of other theme parks we’ve been to?
We recommend in particular:
– Mandoria
– Majaland Kownaty
– Energylandia
– Illusion Farm
– Julinek Amusement Park
– JuraPark Krasiejów
– Clement’s Orchards
If you are not motorized, you can get here by public transportation from Pulawy.
Note, if you plan to come to the Magic Gardens anytime soon, you should know that the park is only open on weekends, from 10am to 6pm. During the holiday season, it was open daily.
It’s also worth mentioning that it’s a popular place, especially in nice weather, so don’t be surprised by the queue at the checkout. However, it can be bypassed in a very simple way by buying a ticket online and showing it on a smartphone screen.

What are Magic Gardens?
Magic Gardens is a beautifully arranged theme park for children. Crossing the gate to the Gardens, we enter a completely different world: the world of fairy tales and legends. Here we will meet two wizards: Zoran and Arag, and many other fairy-tale characters and creatures (including some that are a little less pleasant ;) ). The park is divided into lands, with many interesting attractions for both younger and older children. They will play on playgrounds, walk in a rope park, learn about legends, learn to wield a sword and much, much more.
Magic Gardens is also… garden! Full of flowers, colors, smells, insects and small animals. Beautiful beds, an impressive crop of tulips, roses, hydrangeas, peonies – the gardeners are doing a great job. Especially since, with so many visitors, we didn’t see damaged flowerbeds, plucked flowers, broken branches.
There is little shoddy plastic or the ever so ubiquitous inflatables in the park. We are not strongly radical on these topics, but we definitely prefer to spend our time among more natural materials. Here many attractions are made of wood, strings, stones. They are made for this place, one of a kind, so you won’t find similar ones in other amusement parks.
You can walk from attraction to attraction in the Magic Gardens with a map in hand, but keep your eyes and ears open! The park is full of nooks and crannies, hidden tunnels that can be entered, climbed, wandered around. It’s better that tall people don’t look there, because they may have trouble getting out ;-)
Attractions at the Magic Gardens
What attractions and lands await in the Magic Gardens?
The park is divided into several thematic sections. To begin with, we recommend going in the opposite direction from everyone else, i.e. in the direction of Mroczysko and hooking up with every single attraction on the way back.
Mroczysko
The darkroom is recommended for older children (6+), although toddlers also entered here. In our opinion, the attraction has an age restriction for some reason and if your children are sensitive to spooks, spider webs, etc. then it is better to avoid this place. Entries are made at specific times, in groups, and a special guide takes a tour of the Mroczyskoe.
Bridges in the treetops
A great attraction for kids! Many tasks and challenges await on the bridges suspended high above the restaurant. A good sense of balance, accuracy and flexibility will be required to get through :) Attraction from the age of 6, but a little younger children will also manage, especially since adults can also enter, help and also have fun :)
Land of the Fairies
Fairyland is a garden and a castle just outside the entrance which is hard to pass by indifferently ;) And certainly no princess will let go of climbing to the top of the castle and descending from heights. On the grass next door, there are balls and animations led by the Slurpee Fairies. There’s a pond, grass, deck chairs – while the kids go wild, the parents can relax.
Bulwiak Village
Bulwiak Village is a flower-filled land and small dwarf-like creatures. You can take a trip by train and see how the Bulwiak live (watch out for heads, as the ceiling is quite low!). There are sometimes queues to get to the train, but this time is made more pleasant by the performances on the stage right next to the entrance.
Dwarf City
The Dwarf Castle is probably the most interesting part in the park, especially for those slightly older children. Here we can shoot a crossbow, learn to wield a sword, and there’s a carousel, swings and muscle-powered boats! So while the children are playing the parents are doing the mold.
Also prominent in Dwarf Land is the so-called Trial Tower, which is a giant slide, where you slide down on special mats.
…and others :)
Dragons, bugs, vegetables – these are places for the little ones, full of interesting creatures or giant carrots. You can sit, stroke, cuddle, roll your eyes, and pose for pictures ;)
In addition, for those quieter children, the rafts are interesting – you can swim on the water for a while, of course, you have to push off on your own. We decided not to ;)
There is really a lot going on here…. Every now and then some attraction, some intriguing underground tunnel, spiders and climbing nets, swings, but there are also places to relax like a beach with a small body of water, benches, deck chairs and even barbecue areas.
Catering
What if you are attacked by a little hunger, and you did not take your provisions?
You will not be in danger of starving here ;) There are several catering facilities on the territory of the Magic Gardens. There are café, ice cream parlors, restaurants, barbecue – there is quite a selection, so there should be something for everyone. Interestingly, you can also try local dishes here, so the choice is not limited to burgers, pork chops or fries :)
And here’s a minor note, we recommend that you go earlier than everyone else for lunch, because at the typical lunchtime, the lines get quite long.
Price list of Magical Gardens
How much does it cost to enter the Magic Gardens? Unfortunately, as in other fantastic places and here you have to pay a lot, but before you conclude that if it’s expensive you don’t go, be sure to read on ;)
Prices current as of 2022:
- A regular ticket costs PLN 89,
- Concessionary (up to 14 years of age) – PLN 79.
- Children up to 100 cm tall enter for 5 zl.
Fortunately, it’s cheaper buying a group ticket.
How to get in even cheaper? Be sure to check the website, as you can hit some interesting promotions. E.g., until 26.09 there was a 25% discount on tickets purchased online, so with a 4-person ticket it was £50 cheaper. I think such promotions will appear from time to time, so keep an eye on the Magic Gardens website.
In addition, when buying a ticket, you have the opportunity to get a so-called return ticket with a 20% discount (the condition, however, is that you must show the ticket to the staff at the gate before leaving).
Our opinion about Magic Gardens
Going to Magic Gardens, we read some reviews that it is a park rather for young children, such as those under 6 years old. We disagree, as many of the attractions are just for children aged 6 and older. Although the smaller children won’t complain about a lack of attractions either.
And we are convinced that if we came back here in these 4 years, our little ones would not want to leave again :) Because we have to mention at the end of this post that at Magic Gardens, when closing time approaches, no one chases away…. Messages do not fly from the loudspeakers that it is necessary to collect the manatees and head for the exit, on the contrary. Being around 6 pm at the gate we still took part in the animation and farewell dances, so we left long after 6 pm.
We definitely recommend this place to you.
