Attention! This entry will be very “childish”. Because how else can you describe a list of, in our opinion, the best accommodations for families with children in Poland? So if you are looking for a hotel for families in Poland with adequate infrastructure and attractions for children, for a weekend or a longer trip, you have come to the right place.
Traveling with children is more challenging. Planning, logistics, organization, packing – it all becomes more complicated if you are traveling with three, four, five…. And what is the question of choosing a hotel? In our country it is sometimes different. Sometimes we allow ourselves a bit of luxury and buy a better, more expensive hotel with a bigger room, with a better breakfast, with a game room, sometimes we choose an agritourism on the sidelines without internet, and sometimes we buy the cheapest room, which serves us only as a place where we sleep.
In this post, however, we will focus on hotels and guesthouses where you come for more than one night and spend some extra time. A slow breakfast, a walk or bike ride through the neighborhood, playing on the playground, communing with nature, spending time with other children – these are often integral parts of traveling with children, which often supersede flying and sightseeing or climbing all the peaks in the area.
Below you will find a list of hotels across Poland that we think are ideal for a weekend or longer stay when you want to get away with children, of all ages. But what does it mean for a hotel to be good for children? Does it have a pool with a wading pool and/or slides? Playground? A playroom? Chairs in the restaurant and baby cribs in the room? How about just large family rooms? :)
No, definitely the fact that the hotel offers “family rooms” does not make it an ideal option for a weekend stay. You need to take into account many aspects, even those about which you won’t find information on the hotel’s website, such as the attitude of employees to children – so it’s worth looking for reviews and recommendations among friends, independent sources, or even reviews on booking.com.

Hotel with attractions for children in Poland
What to look out for in particular? In our opinion, the ideal hotel with attractions for children is one that offers all of the above. That is, both an outdoor playground and an indoor playroom (playroom), for winter or inclement weather. In addition, a swimming pool is welcome, preferably enclosed (again, winter or ugly weather), and may be additionally outside. Green walking areas or bike trails in the area very welcome.
For an ideal hotel, baby chairs, cribs for toddlers and spacious rooms are, of course, essential. Let’s also not forget that the place is made up of people, and without friendly and committed staff, not a move.
Does this mean that a hotel that does not meet one of the above assumptions is not worthy of consideration? Absolutely not :) There are very nice places (guesthouses, agritourism) that offer communing with nature, organic food, animal companionship, disconnection from mobile networks and the Internet and will be for many traveling families the ideal option. Remember, it all depends on what is most important to you.

One of the primary criteria is a playground on the premises, or nearby. And no wonder, because no child will pass by a swing or slide indifferently. A small thing, but happy.
Of course, the more fancy, complicated and varied the better, because it may turn out that supposedly there is a playground, but a toddler will not use it for anything (for example, no swing with rails). So it’s worth looking carefully at the photos on the facility’s website or other portals.
Hotels with a swimming pool for children
A hotel with a pool can often be more expensive than other facilities without a pool, but something for something. So if your toddler loves to splash around in the water then it is worth looking for facilities that have a swimming pool or the possibility to use a facility located in the area.
For us, it’s important that the pool is on site, and it’s great when the entrance is from the hotel, without having to go outside.
Again, it’s worth checking whether the on-site pool will be suitable for children. It may turn out that the hotel’s swimming pool is a regular, deep swimming pool. So be sure to read carefully whether there is a paddling pool and some attractions for the little ones,
Hotels with a playroom for children
A parent can always find a playground or outdoor attractions. An enclosed playroom in a hotel, especially in autumn or winter, can be a lifesaver for many a parent :)
We used to not pay attention to it at all, but as the children grow and need a lot of movement such rooms are a great solution. Of course, it’s always better to use the fresh air first, but it’s good to have a room to look into after breakfast or in the evening.
What to look out for? At what age children can use it, whether there are additional animations on site and whether you can leave your children in the care of animators (if such an option interests you, some hotels allow it).

Ok, we already know what to pay special attention to, so let’s get to the specifics. So what family accommodations that meet such requirements (or most of them) can we recommend to you?
Masuria – Nature of Masuria (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship)
Natura Mazur Hotel & Spa is located in the village of Warchały, about 16 km from Szczytno. It is located between three lakes: Swietajno, Brajnickie and Warchaly. Directly from the hotel there is a descent to the shore of Lake Svitajno.
The hotel is large, with quite a few rooms, but surprisingly moving inside the hotel it is not crowded at all despite full occupancy. There are no problems finding a table at breakfast, no queues at the pool or in the restaurant. Only the sunbeds at the pool are a little too few.
The hotel has both an outdoor and indoor playground. And at the latter we will stop for a moment – there is a monkey grove, a ping pong table, foosball, lots of toys for children of all ages. During the long weekend, there were also animators on site who play with children all day, plus there are games for children at designated times.
The cafeteria provides children’s chairs, bibs and dishes that even non-meat eaters will enjoy (such as cottage cheese pancakes, pancakes, rice with apples).
We had a very large, spacious room where we could easily fit four of us, and there was even room to play. A crib, baby bathrobes and a toilet pad awaited us in the room. The hit was the heavily heated bathroom floor, which heated the entire bathroom.
We sincerely recommend the hotel, we were delighted!
W Snow White Settlement near Karpacz we were not long after the opening ie. September 2017. At the outset, we must honestly point out that things may have changed a bit since then, as we know that the center has expanded. However, we liked it very much at the time.
The Snowbird settlement is located on the outskirts, so we recommend access by car. It is a sizable facility, which includes cottages with apartments and kitchenettes in addition to standard rooms. We just stayed overnight in one of the apartments with a kitchenette.
There is an outdoor playground, and inflatables were also laid out during our visit. A huge two-story playroom is also available, though unfortunately in a separate building. There is an indoor pool with a wading pool and seasonally also an outdoor pool.
Breakfast on site is good, with children’s chairs that are never in short supply (outside of IKEA, we haven’t seen so many Antelope chairs in one place ;) ).
Unfortunately, it is more crowded and cramped here than in the previous facility.

There is a hotel in Szklarska Poreba from the same group as the Sniezka Estate. It’s called Blue Mountain Resort, and it’s another facility fully prepared to accommodate families with children.
The facility consists of a complex of several-story buildings connected by a corridor on the first floor, so unlike the facility next to Karpacz, here we can easily go to breakfast or to the pool without putting on outer clothes.
There is a playroom with a cool monkey grove for toddlers, a media room for older children (games, consoles), an aquapark with a paddling pool and slides, a spa area, an outdoor playground for children, inflatables and a mini ski slope for learning to ride.
The rooms are spacious, we stayed in a suite with a separate bedroom and kitchenette.
On the big plus side, breakfasts. Tasty, large selection and a special table with dishes for children. And while putting sweets here is not the best idea in our opinion, just preparing such a place, special plates and cups for children very in plus. In addition, there is a children’s corner in the restaurant – parents can finish their breakfast and children can start playing.
There is a space next to the hotel where barbecues, discos and attractions for toddlers are held. In the lobby, at the reception desk, you can meet fairy tale characters!

If by the Baltic Sea then we recommend Golden Tulip Gdansk Residence. We were in the winter period, so there was no full occupancy thanks to which we used many of the activities on site as the only ones ;)
The property is not right on the beach, but very close (less than 500 meters). It is a complex of buildings connected by a garage and corridors so that you can walk between the buildings without going outside. Here you will find typical “hotel” rooms, but also apartments with a small kitchen, ideal for families.
It is a very good facility for traveling families. There is a well-equipped playroom, and there is also an outdoor playground.
The facility includes a swimming pool. Even though there is no typical wading pool for toddlers, it is still possible to use it even with small children, as there is a fairly large, shallow pool, and you can use the inflatable toys available to the public.
The facility serves very good breakfasts, there are tasty things for children plus plastic tableware and cutlery. Also here, the restaurant has a small table for children, where they can keep themselves busy playing after finishing their meal.

Time for a facility different from the above, but also suitable for families.
If you would like to get away from the city, hole up in the woods, no internet, no cellular network then consider staying at the Old Village Resort & Renewal.
But don’t worry, you won’t be on your own :) It is quite a large resort with cottages of different standards. Some are cottages, say “colonial”, and some are super modern, storied apartments. We spent the night in a cottage with a driveway for the car, a living room, bathroom and kitchen downstairs and rooms and bathroom upstairs. There was also a terrace and a fenced-off garden with deck chairs at our disposal, but we did not use it because it was too cold.
For children, there is a playground (or even several, although very modest) and a playroom on the premises. In the playroom there are toys for toddlers, small tables, a ping pong table, a console, in other words, something for everyone :)
A swimming pool (indoor) and salt cave are also available on site. In season, there is a beach, beach volleyball courts, deck chairs, etc.
The big downside is the lack of a restaurant, you can only order breakfast in the form of a filled refrigerator on the first day.

And another object: in a remote area, in the woods, in silence.
Pension Uroczysko Zaborek is a fantastic place for both a romantic weekend for two and a family getaway. The owners and staff make every effort to ensure that these two groups of visitors do not disturb each other ;) Let’s not hide the fact that leaving children at home parents dream of rest, not noise and intensity. This is possible at the Zaborek Wilderness because there are several historic buildings here, and guests are accommodated so that families have other families as neighbors and adults live with other adults. A sleepover in an old windmill is a hit!
Why else do we recommend this facility? Above all, the atmosphere and delicious local food – these two aspects will make both parents and children happy. We were very positively surprised to observe how each employee helped, talked and even entertained the children. You can see that these are people who have children themselves and know what parents need. We felt that we were under good wings.
The staff also goes to great lengths to provide delicious food, and they succeed. Local and fresh ingredients, make every meal tasty, and eating here with children become a pleasure ;)
Of course, in the hotel room there was a baby crib with bedding waiting.
This is a facility where outdoor attractions are relied upon. There’s a playground, a tyrolean, a sensory path in the woods, playgrounds, plus you can play a trick-or-treating game and a Quest game around the area. You can also try your hand at horseback riding.
In inclement weather, you can play board games or play in the playhouse, next to the playground.
This is one of such facilities, where you do not need any very fancy attractions for children at all, and we still assure you that your stay in Zaborek Wilderness will be unforgettable.

A hit for many may be Lolkovo Agritourism. We spent the night here before this place became an agritourism, by acquaintance :-) Recently, we received news that in the Forest Ditch you can already commercially rent a room, which we highly recommend to you, because we are convinced that you will be hosted here like kings.
Communing with nature, farm animals, bike rides, canoeing, as well as a traditional outdoor playground – relaxation in nature is guaranteed.

Leluja Habitat is a place we’ve had on our radar for a long time, because a lot of people recommend it to us. Let’s also add at the outset that the facility won third place in the category of Leisure at the farmer 2019 in the plebiscite “In the countryside best” organized by the Polish Tourism Organization.
It is a fantastic place, full of peace and nature, where you can not only relax, but also spend time with animals, make cheese, fish, go to the cinema room in the barn, indulge in hay, playgrounds…. a completely different form of rest and leisure.
Anyway, already looking at the photos you can smell the hay, grass and delicacies served here.

Zalesie Mazury Active Spa
We have not been to this facility, but it is also on our list, as it offers fantastic facilities for children and many people have recommended it to us. If we arrive, this entry will of course be updated, but nevertheless the research has already been done by us.
So what does the hotel offer the little ones? SOME outdoor playgrounds, a grazing playroom (more than 200m2!), animations on weekends…. on top of this, the hotel boasts care even for infants, rooms adapted for the youngest, and even a bedroom for toddlers left in local care. For us, there is no such option to leave a 4-month-old baby with a stranger, but we know that some parents are looking for such opportunities, or dream to be alone at least for a while, so this hotel may be ideal for such people.
There is a beach on the lake, you can rent kayaks, boats, pedal boats. There is a pool, there is a slide. What more could you want?
The only downsides we found were the rooms – that they were cramped, that they were unrenovated, but be sure to look at the family room offerings – they look spacious and fantastic :)

We have already made several approaches to this hotel, but have not yet been able to get there :( Mainly for financial reasons, because during the periods we wanted to stay overnight it was either too expensive or there were not enough places. For example, a less than one-week May vacation for a family cost PLN 5,000 (with food).
However, if you can afford such an accommodation, consider this hotel. It has very good reviews and great facilities for children.
The facility has an even larger playroom than the aforementioned Zalesie Mazury Active Spa – there is about 250m2 of fun here! There is also animation, dance evenings, a swimming pool and paddling pool, there is an enclosure with animals, and for older children there is a lounge with games.
Children from the age of 2 can stay in the care of their aunt at the mini preschool operating here.
For us, the only downside, as we mentioned, is the prices and the need to buy packages with food. Fortunately, you can get around this by buying accommodation through Booking – here.
Another facility worth recommending in Szklarska Poreba. It has great reviews and is highly visited and recommended by families with toddlers. Still on our list!
There are swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), playground, playroom, media room, animation. It is worth mentioning that there is a small slope right next to the hotel, just in time for your first steps on skis.
Guests also praise the hotel for its well-appointed, modern and spacious rooms and delicious breakfasts.

The property is located near the sea, right on Lake Zamelowskie. It is a large area, picturesquely located, with many attractions, including, of course, attractions for children as well. We would probably prefer to visit here in the winter time to avoid larger crowds.
As for the hotel itself, it is a large brick building with family rooms available. A super attraction can be an overnight stay in tree houses, accommodating up to 5 people.
And what about for the children? In this large area there is a small zoo and a sealarium along with a special cruise, a Fairyland, there are inflatables, water sports, horseback riding, and no shortage of playgrounds. And while these attractions, according to many opinions, are not worth a special trip to the Charlotte Valley, staying overnight here is worth taking advantage of and will be an interesting alternative for spending free time.
What if the weather is not good? There is a playroom, where animation also takes place, a game room and a swimming pool with a wading pool.

If you are looking for a facility closer to the sea then you may like the Aquarius Hotel in Kolobrzeg, just 500 meters from the shore.
This is another large facility prepared for families with children. So what do we have in place? Of course, there is a playground, there is a playroom for toddlers and for slightly older children, there are also games and animations.
In bad weather or when you don’t feel like going to the sea you can spend time in the hotel’s pool.
Very on the plus side we write the children’s corner in the restaurant :)
The only thing that discourages us is the very artificial photos of the object and the people posing, but this is just our opinion ;)

And now another facility from the mountains, this time in Zakopane. We only discovered this modern facility when we were preparing this post for you, and we are very sorry that we were so late, because we probably would have stayed there a long time ago. So what have we been able to learn about him?
It is a high-end hotel, quite exclusive, but it does not close to the youngest. Ba! The little ones are taken quite seriously here, as even in the spa there are special packages for children, such as fruit massages and chocolate swirls ;-)
In addition to children’s treatments, there are other, more traditional attractions for the little ones like a playroom, animation (shows with fairy tales), a swimming pool with a paddling pool and an interestingly arranged castle-shaped playground and maze.
So if you want a luxurious break with your children, Nosalowy Dwor seems like a good option.

It’s time for the most design-oriented object of all those proposed here. The Lemon Resort Spa facility impresses with its architecture, modernity, but also adaptation and openness to families with children.
The hotel is located on Lake Roznowskie and, of course, offers water sports. So in the summer you can spend time by the water, go boating, kayaking, you can rent bicycles, or you can use the stud farm, which is right next door. There is a playground on the premises. Winter activities are provided by the proximity of the ski slopes.
But what if the weather doesn’t cooperate? The facility has a swimming pool, but no paddling pool for the little ones. There is a children’s corner inside, with it being next to the restaurant area, rather than separated as a separate room (this, however, goes on the plus side, because after all, a meal eaten in peace is a success ;-)). Separately, instead, there is a room with games, billiards, etc.
This is another facility that quite a few people have recommended to us. You can book an overnight stay at the Lemon Resort Spa Hotel here.
Among the facilities at the seaside, the Pension Wojciech in Wladyslawowo is also worth noting. This intimate facility positively surprises with the quantity and quality of facilities for children.
A playroom of more than 120 square meters is just the beginning of the attractions here. A real gem is Klockolandia, a creative playroom full of the world’s most popular LEGO® bricks. When you add to this a package of holiday animation, illusion shows or additional attractions such as games on the “inflatable” – you get a very attractive stay program.
The rooms at the Guesthouse are of a decent standard, and if you want more amenities, the Premium rooms are worth looking into – they offer hotel standard along with individually controlled air conditioning.
Catering is not insignificant. Here you can count on home cooking, adapted to families with children. Breakfast is buffet style, with an additional soup for children at noon, and dinner in the afternoon (no more buffet here, but the menu is usually tailored for children).
The downside is the distance from the beach (about 1.2 kilometers), but for the lazy there are Melexes available that will drive up to the beach itself for an additional fee. Distance compensates for the location in a quiet part of the city, with a beautiful view of the Bay.

Another large facility, but let’s not hide the fact that if you are looking for grazing pools and playrooms, you will find them most quickly in such facilities. So the bar is set high, let’s see what we can find here for the little ones.
If the weather is nice, I’m sure the kids will enjoy using the playground.
However, if the weather is not good, no one will be bored. There is a children’s club, a playroom, as well as a rare art room, here called the Imagination Space. There are babysitters in the playroom to take care of children over 2 years old. For older children, there is traditionally a playroom with games ;)
Of particular note is the pool, and not just because of the children’s wading pool, but the outdoor heated pool! The water is about 35 degrees, so even when it’s cold, you can be tucked away in the hot water.
Also at this hotel there are dedicated spa treatments for the little ones.

We visited the next object we present here a few nice years ago, still without children :-) At that time children were not yet in our minds, but looking back we would have gladly taken them here.
Spacious rooms, to a high standard, well equipped – in plus. When booking a room, however, it is worth making sure whether you will be in a room connected by walkways to the restaurant or whether you will have to walk between buildings – this is inconvenient especially in winter.
The hotel writes that it treats children like VIPs, and this is true from the moment they approach the reception desk during check in. Kids get special VIP badges, collect stamps, participate in animations and just have a great time. This hotel probably has the longest list of accessories you can order for your room starting with a crib, to a humidifier, to a basket for dirty diapers!
The hotel has a Kids Club, there is a cool playroom with a monkey grove, for the older ones there is a game room.
The facility has a swimming pool with a warm-water wading pool, and a level miniature golf course is also worthy of additional attention.

We can highly recommend any of the above hotels to you. We have been to most of them in person, some we know by recommendation (next to each we write whether we have been in person or not). However, for the sake of fairness, in each description we have used marketing materials of each hotel, so that each looks similar (because it is clear that our photos are not super pro) :)
In our opinion, you will be satisfied with any hotel, whatever of the above you choose :)
