How do you look for family-friendly places and attractions with children? On Google Maps, blogs, groups on FB? Where do you write them down for yourself and do you seek different opinions? For us the above solutions were not enough therefore…. we created something new!
Today we have something completely new and innovative for you! A one-stop solution that allows you to easily search for attractions, restaurants, accommodations and events for families with children. Keep reading, we’ll show and explain everything soon :)
How have we searched for places for families with children so far? If someone recommended to us or we accidentally came across a cool place, accommodation or restaurant, we saved these places for ourselves on our shared map on Google Maps.
Looking specifically for attractions or hotels, we searched respectively on Google Maps, Booking, Slowhop, blogs, sometimes on groups on FB…. We Googled places, of course, checked reviews, read reviews.
Unfortunately, there is not (or rather, there was not ;) ) a tool that would accumulate family-friendly places with children – a place where you could search for both restaurants, events and accommodations all over the country. Places where everyone can add their favorite places. Places where anyone can give their opinion and rate the facility. A place that would provide a number of filters and tags to search for very specific facilities, with specific equipment, amenities (e.g., children’s chairs, playground, animation, etc.).
Fortunately, it is now! We present to you a new service:

It is definitely #autopromotion ;) The service has been fully prepared by us, but we want it to be created by you as well. The site has been up and running for a short time, you will now find nearly 150 venues and events here and this is just the beginning!
This is a service where anyone can add their places, recommend the most interesting playgrounds to others, point out family restaurants, or show the best places to stay. You can add and search for places and events by category or region!
What’s more, you can add places to your favorites!

Poland for Kids gives you the opportunity to search for children’s attractions all over Poland. Attractions are assigned to at least one of the categories:
So you can find amusement parks, castles, zoos, but also playgrounds or ice rinks. Each attraction, in addition to the category, also has a mandatory age of the child – so using the filters to find places suitable for children of a certain age (toddlers, preschoolers, older children or teenagers).
But that’s not all. We have added more than a dozen facilities so you can search for places, among others. with changing tables, accessible to strollers or those where there are dedicated tour paths for children. There are also specific themes so you can find attractions for fans of, for example, dinosaurs or vehicles all over Poland!
In addition, with general tags you will see whether the place is open year-round or seasonally, whether it is suitable for inclement weather, whether there is parking and Wi-Fi on site.
Of course, there is no lack of such basic information as contact information, opening hours, price range, photos, etc.
And let’s not forget that every attraction can be rated!
Restaurants are a fairly broad category with places serving food and drink. There will be restaurants, cafes, foodtrucks but also outlets for ice cream and all kinds of sweets.
Of course, in the case of food, there are different designations than in the case of attractions, and above all, we can search for restaurants in terms of the dishes served. So you can look for restaurants that have Mexican, Indian, vegetarian, Japanese, pizza or Chinese dishes.
On top of that, of course, you can indicate whether you’re looking for a place with a children’s corner, a dedicated menu, or at least a highchair for kids! We know that such amenities are sometimes very important when choosing a place to dine.
In this section, you can search widely for accommodations. Really wide. We are not limited to just hotels and guesthouses! You can choose from the following categories:
So whether you are planning to stay in a tent or in a 5-star hotel: you can search on Poland for Kids for the right places for you.
When looking for accommodation for families with children, we know how important all amenities are, so we have prepared and in this section a list of such amenities that you can use as filters when searching for the perfect place: playroom, children’s animation, playground, bottle warmer, children’s wading pool, recreational areas, bathtub, crib, etc.
There are also general amenities and tags that may be important to many people: spa, family rooms, indoor pool, washing machine, kitchenette, pet-friendly place or Wi-Fi.
Thanks to the accompanying photos, you will be able to get a better idea of the offer, and thanks to the reviews you will be able to see who particularly liked the accommodation.
In this category will be posted various events across the country for families. These can be either workshops, classes, concerts, sports events, holidays, camps or performances.
Events also specify the age of the audience and, of course, the date of the event (events can also be added to your calendar!).
Amenities are also added, as stroller accessibility, playground, changing table, etc., can also be important for events.
Ufff… it was quite a challenge to create such a service! But we know very well that the biggest work is yet to come! Every day we add a few places ourselves and every day we get a few more from you! We believe that for the vacations, this map will be full of fantastic family-friendly places with children!
